Born November 13th, 1990 in Seoul, South Korea, Piezo was raised in a Christian/Military household but luckily had parents who were open to his creative differences. His childhood was diverse in artistic introductions. His father was a musician/singer in his early years and his mother had a love for poetry. Although his parents shared their own love for art, he gained a love for fashion and photography when his mother let him choose his own clothes at an early age. As Piezo reached his teenage years he made up his mind to attend Fashion Institute of Technology at the age of 17. After many majors and five schools later he finally settled into photography at his fifth school, Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. At RMCAD he received his BFA in Fine Arts: Photo/Video and after graduation he moved on to receive his MPS in Digital Photography at School of Visual Arts in New York.
